Wonderful spot to stay and good location to do many things on the island! They thought of everything we would need which allowed us to just relax and enjoy! We loved seeing the turtles on the beach and the wildlife in the lagoon next door.
Our 1 BR unit at Aloha AKU Inn and Suites was more than adequate for our one week stay. Beach access was within a one minute walk, no street crossings required. There were great restaurants, coffee shops, and a grocery store within two blocks. This was our first time in Maui during late spring and it was much hotter than expected, plus the trade winds were minimal during the first few days of our stay. Although the portable A/C unit in the bedroom worked fine with the door closed, the rest
Condo was exactly as promised and more! The absolute only thing that I could say anything negative about was that you can’t actually see the ocean from the condo itself and it says partial ocean view. No big deal because the resort is right on a wonderful ocean side park with a great beach and beautiful grounds to partake in many outdoor activities right at your doorstep!

Aloha Aku is in a very convenient location in a beautiful setting. The staff (Sarah, Linda, and Wade) with whom I interacted was courteous, friendly, helpful, and pleasant at all times. The continental breakfast was very good, and the supply of beach equipment was quite impressive. I highly recommend Aloha Aku.
I can’t say enough positive things about this place! The owners have thought of everything to make the stay here truly first class. And it feels so private and that’s the best part. Truly beautiful property. Don’t waste your money on junk resorts like the Grand Wailea, book a way better stay here.
